Tempt me, tease me.
Aug. 31st, 2007 07:57 pmI'm considering going to Dramacon Sakura-con in 2008 instead of Anime Boston. Who on my flist goes to that con? Or is in the area and therefore open to persuasion? :3

ETA: Before anyone asks why I'm reconsidering Boston...
Anime Boston's hotel for 2008 is on the other side of the mall, and I'm not a big fan of the thought of walking through a crowded mall in cosplay. Plus, the close hotel was a big piece of Boston's advantage over Otakon - it was a big con, but retained the conveniences of small cons. For example, I didn't have to carry my laptop with me all day before the Sailormoon panel, it was fast and easy to run back to the room and get it. Also, the AMV elitists at Boston are kind of freaking me out. Whatever con I go to, I want to enter the AMV contest, and I'm not sure I'm ready for Boston's.
I did have a lot of fun at Anime Boston, so if I pass on it in 2008, I'll be back in 2009. :)
