I made five bento lunches this evening. :) Unfortunately I forgot that I needed six. x( Maybe I'll feel like going out for lunch sometime this weekend...
My camera still refuses to take pictures in focus. GRR. I don't have time to try again tonight, so these will have to do.
One of my sister's. I made three like this one. Mandarin oranges, chicken nuggets, and steamed broccoli (which turned out to be in pieces a heck of a lot smaller than I anticipated o_O) on the top tier. White rice topped with a pickle on the bottom, and a pig-shaped bottle of soy sauce.
After that I ran a little low on ingredients. I'm way overdue for a trip to the grocery store. I heated up some beef stew for the bottom tier of the final two bentos, but for the main course... I resorted to breakfast sausage. ^^;;
Mandarin oranges, broccoli bits, and sausage pieces on the top. Vegetable beef stew on the bottom.
And now for one of my new boxes :D
Vegetable beef stew on the bottom, sausage pieces and broccoli bits on the top. I took some extra pictures of this one so you can see how it all goes together.
First, the top tier sits on top of the bottom tier.
Next, an airtight lid over the top tier. (The bottom tier is not airtight.)
And then the sakura lid goes over the whole thing.
Ta-dah! :D
Unfortunately I don't think the sakura bento will fit in the dragonfly bento's bag. I'll have to get a piece of cloth to tie it up in.
And now it's past my bedtime... but this episode of House has really sucked me in. o.o
