I've decided to try Chad Darnell's 12 of 12. I learned about it from [livejournal.com profile] amazonqueenkate.

I had the day off today, which was good since I can't take pictures at work.

The time on my alarm clock when I finally got up today. How embarrassing. ^^;; I didn't realize I was so exhausted. I had one of those lengthy dreams that keeps blending into various new stories, it made me want to keep sleeping.

3:45 PM. Laundry in the dryer. Someone came in looking for available machines just as I was finishing filling up the last washing machine. I guess that evens things up for Sunday when I couldn't do laundry because all the machines were taken. >3

4:30 PM. My sister has decided my Molly and her Jack Skellington are a couple. She left them like this when she went to work. I can't really argue; I made a couple out of her Alphonse Elric and my Chibi-Usa a while back. xD

4:50 PM. Working on my Christmas cards. I'm still working on the letter that will be inserted in the cards, but I have all the materials ready to go. I'm excited to break into my new stamp set.

5:10 PM. Nice clean laundry fresh from the dryer. Just enough time to put everything away and get myself together before I have to go.

5:15 PM. When I took all my stuff out of the pockets of my jeans, I found I've been carrying this around - the bit of paper with my hotel room number on it from some anime convention. I'm not sure which one it was.

5:30 PM. Time to head out. My car in its parking space in the underground garage. Until Monday, there was a foam Menchi head on the antenna. *sniffle*

5:50 PM. The IMAX theater at the Minnesota Zoo! I saw Beowulf in IMAX 3D. It was okay. A lot more disgusting than I expected, particularly in the first half. ^^;; The 3D effects weren't as impressive as I hoped.

8:00 PM. The theater's gift shop. There were a bunch of Lamb Chop puppets, for some reason. o_O I'm going to cheat a bit and show a closeup of the sign in the background, because I think it's amusing.

8:30 PM. On the way home I stopped by the gas station where my sister works and forced the rest of my popcorn on her.

9:00 PM. Checking my email. About half a dozen new messages while I was gone.

9:15 PM. Dad emailed that he'll be visiting tomorrow, so I added that to my dry-erase calendar.

Bonus: "Believe." When my sister went to work, she left the TV tuned to a showing of National Treasure. I'm sure it's lame using a movie for this, but Ben Gates believed in the treasure to the very end, right? ^^;; I tried to get my favorite moment, when they light up the treasure room and Gates and his dad are all "YEAH!" together, but I timed the picture badly and there was a torch in the way. :\

Could be better, but it was my first try. ^^;; Now I'm off to read some more Hogfather and cry.

MOLLY!!!!! my son and I LOVED that silly show!! he is 11 1/2 and we still make references to Loonette and her dolly all the time! (sniff...sniff) I think Jack makes an excellent partner for her! good luck with your Christmas cards!

I always thought the show was a bit too silly for me, but I loved Molly so much I watched it sometimes anyway. She's just so adorable. And Jack's girlfriend in the movie was pretty much a rag doll, so...

Thanks for the comment! :)

Ah laundry room politics... luckily not something you deal with often in the UK, unless you're in student halls of residence at University - but it does bring back flashbacks of trawling all the way downstairs and into the outside washroom, only to find everything was busy! It only took a while for me to figure it was a good idea to work out how long a cycle took! I hated when you came back slightly late to find someone had snuck in between your load finishing and you getting there, and then dumped your clothes on the side or something!

Ugh, I remember all that from when I was in school. Fortunately that kind of thing is very rare in apartment buildings. At some places you're allowed your own washing machine and dryer in your apartment, but not where I live, so it's shared laundry rooms for me for a while yet.
