I glanced at the recent prompts for sm_monthly and now I have a plot bunny. Damn.

So, the other day I finally started taking the prescription I got two months ago for my heart issues. I didn't take it sooner because I was afraid. I think it might be helping. If nothing else, it's slowed my heart rate down so I don't have to try to sleep with my heart pounding in my ears. I think my pulse may still be skipping on occasion, but I haven't caught it in the act yet. So far, I feel okay. :) Of course, this probably means I'll be on medication for the rest of my life, and that's not an easy thing to accept. There are also still other issues besides the heart thing that are a cause for concern. But at least I don't have to feel like I might drop dead any minute anymore.

I had a busy, but good, weekend. Thursday I finally opened my Christmas gifts from my dad. He got me the first two volumes of Mai-HIME! :D :D :D Rock on! Friday my sister and I went north to visit my grandma, and my mom came back with us for the night and left Saturday afternoon. Sunday, a friend from college who's visiting from Washington State came over and we watched movies and worked on a puzzle. We didn't finish the puzzle, so she's coming over again tomorrow after I get off work. ^^

We were up pretty late last night though, and I work days this week, so I'm super tired right now. ;_; I'm really looking forward to sleeping tonight.
