It's one more day up in the canyons.

Ahh, days off. :)
The best thing about day shifts is being done with them. xP I'm off until Friday night.
Yesterday my sister and I went over to the Mall of America to do some shopping. MOA is the last place you want to go if you're looking for something specific, but it's kind of fun for general Christmas shopping when your list isn't set in stone. I'm not buying many gifts this year, but I did pick up something for my .moon gift exchange person. ^^ I also made my sister play a round of DDR with me. She used to be better than me at the game, but now that I've been playing the home version more often I've jumped ahead. >) I'm still not very good at the arcade version (is it just me or does it grade harsher than the home versions?) but I can at least pass. You get four songs for a dollar in the MOA arcade, nice deal. It appears Nickelodeon bought the rights to the amusement park, so that should be interesting. It'll have to be better than "The Park," anyway. Blargh. After shopping my sister and I had dinner at a Chinese buffet near home. And then I tortured her by working on an entry for Detour's WTF AMV contest. >)
Today
nephthysmoon and I had a long chat while I finished my Christmas cards. ^^ I got them all in the mail today, so everyone who asked for a card in my LJ entry a while back will be getting one soon. I also sent off my gift exchange package, so that made the deadline, along with a wishlist item for
vayleen. :D
(WTF? "A Long December" just came up on Winamp again, and I know I listened to this earlier. This "random" clearly isn't as random as it should be.)
Hmm, as long as I'm at it, this recent meme looked like fun.
Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 50 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses both artist and track correctly
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
Step 5: If you like the game post your own!
(haha, oh man... I already want to skip some of the ones that came up, and I'm only on song #6! my music collection is so weird ^^;; I don't even listen to half this stuff anymore... Also, WTF songs with their title in the first line?? A lot of these are going to be really easy...)
