Meh...most people suck. >P Seriously. It's hard to find people that actually have good friend-like qualities.

Sailor Moon fans are notoriously full of themselves and think they know everything about Sailor Moon and everything else in the universe and they are totally annoying that way most of the time. Most every time I venture out of my sites, I want to go on a fwapping spree on all the stupid and/or haughty attitudes I see in SM fans. I don't allow that crap on my site, so people either wise up or leave, (and then usually come back with more maturity, oh the stories I could tell you) but it's all over the place on most other SM communities, so I don't get involved. It's waaaaay to much stupid drama for something that's supposed to be fun. There's too much l33t attitude. So what if you're good at something? That doesn't make you better than Naoko, but the way THEY TALK they THINK they are. *fwaps* Honestly, okay - are you a manga-ka? Do you have your own Sailor Moon community? Have you actually read the manga? Did you ACTUALLY SEE every episode in Japanese and English? The number that haven't, but get on their high-horse about stuff is astonishing. And then there's like the n00bs in the fandom that go around critiquing the oldies to get attention. *fwaps to death* GAH! Look you got me started...*takes a deep breath and calms down*

Honestly, there are a lot of fandoms out there with generally nicer (and more mature) fans. (I would know since I have my fingers in everything.) I would recommend spreading out to other fandoms instead. Not that SM fandom couldn't use a pick-me-up, it's been dying for a while with short bursts of re-interest but because the fandom is so volatile, it probably is best left to it's own devices. I've been in SM fandom for 11 years, and there are a couple of things I know for sure. 1) No matter what you do there are dumbarses that will bash it. 2) All SM fans will never been united harmoniously. They simply refuse to be reasonable.

Don't know about this messing up experience of yours, I never heard of it - but yeah if you're worried, probably best to let sleeping dogs lie and all that good stuff. Meh.
