Is misery made beautiful right before our eyes?

Someone tell me why the heck I dreamed about Vikings.

Not the football player Vikings, the real burly braided pillaging horned-helmets Vikings.

To the neighbors'!

Maybe it's your subconsciousness telling you something.

I have no idea what, but it must be something.

You know what's really disturbing?

The dream took place in modern times. There was this community of Viking descendents keeping their "cultural traditions" alive by dressing and behaving like their warrior ancestors and gathering in a sort of church they built that looked like one of the old feasting halls.

Read a message into that.

You've suppressed feelings of anger so your mind is feeding you images of people who act out their feelings and desires without the filters of morality and proper social behavior. It may be that you want to act out on your desires or that you are afraid you *will* act out on your desires. It depends on how you felt during the dream. Was it intense and frightening or axelerating?

It might also represent a longing to be in touch with your ancestry (you are the modern and they are the past) and vikings were just your mind being creative.
