Never meant to be so cold.
Posting mostly to keep my hand in, since there isn't a whole lot of interest going on. I still have to make awards for the WIP category of the UFOs, so all my spare time and creative mindpower is still devoted to that. Makes for some boring LJ entries.
My birthday was quiet, but good. My sister brought home an ice cream cake from Cold Stone in the early afternoon and we shared it with my visiting friends before they headed home. In the evening, my dad and his fiancee took me out for a nice dinner and gave me a book about crime-solving sheep. I also got a v-gift here on LJ from
vayleen, to go with the noisemaker she gave me last year. <3
I'm still reading Fruits Basket. I'm up to volume 6, I believe. There was a Funimation sale on RightStuf, so I put in a preorder for Ouran, which I was inspired to give another try thanks to a great AMV at Anime Boston this year. I also picked up Samurai 7, and... um... something... um, else. Um. Midori Days. Which is, um. Different. Yeah. >.> When I first heard of it, I thought What the hell?? But the title kept popping up, and I finally asked some people about it, and all I got were rave reviews about how surprisingly great it was. So I figured, what the heck. We'll see.
Finally,
sache was selling her Kaleido Star box sets, so I picked those up from her as well. I know there's at least one person on my flist who will be excited to hear that. ;)
I'll be at work all weekend, so hopefully I can finish up the 2007 UFOs then. I'm really looking forward to being done with these so I can work on other things, which include but are not limited to the following really urgent tasks:
something Argh, the .moon Autumn Challenge. Oh, also, I got bit by the art bug that flutters in my window every few months... and this time it's painting, of all things. I may even finish this time! haha. I've only done the background so far, but it's a start.

Methinks the white section is too wide. Too late now, though.
It just hit me that in addition to the above I should not only update my personal website, but give it a complete overhaul... whee.

- New default theme for dotmoon.net.

- A major update for moonromance.net.
- Finish
mechaboydos's AMV.

The way things have been going, I doubt I'll ever get there, to be honest. Thanks so much for inviting me, but it's looking like it's not going to work out. :(
