In other news, a box of happy items arrived today!





Aww, they make such an uncharacteristically adorable couple! ^_^





Squee! sache pointed out the existence of these a while ago and I just had to have them. They were pretty expensive; I had to promise myself this would be my last Death Note purchase. When they arrived and I saw how big and heavy-duty they are, I didn't feel guilty about it anymore. ^^



They're so tall! and heavy!



I was expecting them to be more the size of my other figures, but they're huge and well-constructed. Very nice. When you add in the changeable faces and accessories, they're totally worth the price.



L was what I really wanted, but you gotta have Light to go with him.

*checks* omg HOORAY, I CAN! :D :D I'll have to cut my visit north short, but I've wanted to get to MinneTokyo for so long now that I'm willing to do that. I wanted to come this past time, but it was my friend's birthday, I couldn't ditch out on that. ^^; I should be okay to leave early in August, though. I'm so there. :D *writes on calendar*

XD I had to keep a set of those myself as well, they're so much fun. I love all the Good Smile Company's nendoroids though. XD I didn't keep a Ryuk for myself, but I kept a Misa - looks like you didn't get her. Maybe I should complete my set and open up one of the Ryuk's as well. Hmmm...

Were they really that expensive? >_> The SRP on those is $35, so even if you pay full-pop they're on the cheaper price range for legit figures, especially GSC ones.

I have the Haruhi Suzumiya set and I'm getting the Vocaloid set as well in November when those come in. ^_^ Ah, I love figures.

They have also made those for Haruhi Suzumiya, Fate Stay Night, the Vocaloids, Mabinogi (the game), Moetan, and Wagamama Capriccio. They also made some mini version ones of Lucky Star. They made nendoroid versions of the Tachikoma from GITS also, but those don't have faces (obviously) lol :)
