dejanaWell, here I am at work again. I took some time off to go to the Detour party, but with the con sucking up all my vacation I could only spare nine hours. I had to come back and work 3 AM - 6 AM, but it's no big deal, since I don't drink and I'm nocturnal this week anyway.
The party was okay. It was the usual 3-room suite, with a video room on one side and a gaming room on the other, but the AMVs in the video room were kind of mediocre and I've never been big on gaming. I got there around six, and I'm glad I didn't go any earlier as I've never been good at butting into other people's groups, and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pkat and shorinai didn't get there until later. Once there were more people there that I knew, it was all right. We got some Ops stuff straightened out and there was some good discussion about various series. :)
Still a bit slow, though, to the point where I briefly resorted to checking up on .moon. There was an amusing period where TJ tried to explain some things to me and never really got there. I'm sure it was all very profound on his side of the alcohol. xD There was also an unrelated incident involving some Everclear, so after midnight six of us went over to IHOP for some food. A shorter night than I expected, but all in all, much better than doing nothing or sitting at work. ;P
I'm too lazy to do any of those year-end memes that have been going around, and several of you already got my recap of 2007 in my Christmas card, so this is probably all I'm going to say on the subject. Happy new year, everybody. :)
