Reading the book is a lesson in why it took 10 years for it to become a movie. There's good stuff in there, but the style is not exactly engrossing. If it weren't for the movie, I'd be a) hopelessly confused and b) bored out of my gourd 90% of the time.

Manga... hmm, what *did* I end up buying? Chibi Vampire #3, Angelic Days #3, Trigun #9 and #10 I believe, and umm... something else that's not coming to mind at the moment. I wanted to start Death Note and Someday's Dreamers, but B&N didn't have them. To the hometown alternate chain store!
